LEICA MP-6
The Leica MP6 stands as a unique prototype crafted exclusively for the Japanese market, with a mere 250 units produced, rendering it exceptionally rare and highly sought after by collectors.
While the MP6 shares many similarities with the standard MP model, it features distinct cosmetic enhancements that set it apart. Notably, it sports the classic vulcanite leather covering reminiscent of older Leica cameras, along with prominent engravings of "Leica Camera AG Germany" on the top plate. Additionally, some later models of the MP6 are equipped with an M6 iso selector. Though these changes may seem subtle, they contribute to the camera's distinctive appearance and are immediately recognizable, distinguishing it from its regular MP counterpart.
